Disappointed
I have to say to begin with that I am not and was not a fan of Governor Mark Sanford. I am extremely disappointed in this bombshell he dropped on our state today. It makes it worse that he professes to be a christian. He needs to resign and work on his marriage, if his marriage is important to him.

Very embarrassing for our state. My brother in law called from Massachusetts to give us a hard time about it (he was joking).

Charlotte, that is another component of what makes this so sad for the state (not to mention HIS family): we are the brunt of jokes now. I mean, coming from someone in Massachusetts whose claim to fame is Chappaquiddick Teddy and ____Barney Frank (whatever adjective you want to put there). This is another whole subject, but I'm sick of liberal democrats being able to darn well do as they please morally and being revered for it, but let a republican fall and they are crucified by the same people.
