Show and Tell Friday
Show and Tell Friday~~~ Here is a doll from my childhood. I was born in the '60s, but she is from the '40s or '50s; I'm not positive which era. I love her because she is porcelain and has real looking hair. She is in her original dress after all these years. I took very good care of her as a child.
That's funny I had or have the same doll but with other clothes and hairs, the face is the same. My American aunt sent it to me when I was a little girl. Nice to hear that you are also a cat lover ! Welcome to Cats on Tuesday then !
What a treasure to have! I love that she has on her original dress. I loved dressing my dolls and don't think any of them ended up in their original clothes.
She's lovely. I was born in '66 and I have one doll from my childhood who is "much loved" (a little worse for wear).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing her!
Please stop by The Old Parsonage, I love company!
Enjoy your day!

Your doll is sweet. I still have my doll given to me in 1965. Childhood dolls, and the love that we continue to have for them, is so special.
ReplyDeleteYour doll is precious. I think it is wonderful that you have hung on to her. She looks as though she is in great condition.
