Ok, so I have been posting a lot of pictures of the brothers recently. That's because they are just soooo cute. I captured a sweet moment over the weekend when they bathed each other.

FREE @Walgreens

This has been a fantastic weekend for me for freebies.  At Walgreens this week these are FREE in the return of Register Rewards.  I paid just over $20 for these and got back $19 in Register Rewards.

Over $32 in products for $5.25

I am *totally* on a frugal high trip right now.  I went to CVS this morning armed with:

  $15 in ECBs
• 
  
  $3 in coupons for Pantene and Duracell batteries

I purchased the above items at these prices:

• 
  
  2 16 roll packages of Charmin for 9.99 each
• 
  
  1 10 pack of Duracell batteries for 5.99
• 
  
  2 Pantene for 6.97

Total for all:  32.94

Coupon total: 18.00

I paid out of pocket:  $17.25

I got back $12 in ECBS:  10 ECBS for the Charmin/Duracell deal and 2 for the Pantene.

So, the final total was $5.25.

FREE in the Mail!!!

This week was a *seriously* good week for freebies in the mail.  I got my *second* Earthbound Farm grocery tote (I had gotten one last year that I use every week!) and the Rita Monti coffee in the mailbox.  Look how big that coffee canister is!  I also got coupons for free Butterfinger and Chavrie goat milk cheese.  I had printed a B1G1Free Athenos Hummus coupon.  So, I'm happy!

When we came home one day last week, this is the sight that met us when we opened the front door.  Aren't they sweet???

I know what you are thinking, "All her cats do is SLEEP!"  Well, that's largely true.  Humpty Dumpty tends to spend virtually his ENTIRE day on the couch.  He won't even move for me; he will let me slip in behind him and then the two of us "spoon".

FREE!

Who doesn't love FREE stuff?  This is what I got free last week via the U.S. mail service.  The hot dogs, barbecue sauce, and rice were from coupons in the mail, but the last were samples in my mailbox.  It doesn't take long to fill out the forms online for the samples, and I think it's worth it.

Happy 16th Birthday, Matthew

Today is my son's 16th birthday.  We celebrated with my parents in a nearby town on Saturday.  He wanted a red velvet cake from Publix.  Today he has requested Lowcountry Boil, which is a combination of shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, and new potatoes boiled in Old Bay Seasoning. 

16th Birthday Present

This weekend we are celebrating Matthew's 16th birthday, which is Sunday the 16th.  He chose for his present this year to go to a Tim McGraw concert last night.  I had not been to a concert since college, and we had a great time.  The seats were fantastic and we were entertained by 4:  Love and Theft, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, and a special surprise when Darius Rucker went on stage to sing one song with Tim.

Above:  On Saturday and Sunday Humpty Dumpty decided he wanted to sleep in the dogs' kennel ALL DAY, and I do mean, ALL day.  At one point Buddy the dog decided he also wanted a nap, so he carefully stepped around Humpty to lie down in the back and nap.

FREE Plus Moneymaker at CVS

I have already made my CVS run before church.  Before my coupons and ECBS, this came to just over $27.  After my ECBS and coupons, I wrote a check for $13.24.  I got back $19 in ECBS.  I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when I have FANTASTIC CVS runs.  That hasn't been happening a lot this year, so I was so excited to see these moneymakers.

CVS and Walgreens Steals

• 2 tubes of Colgate
• 2 Dawn dish detergent
• 1 Listerine
• 1 Crest mouthwash

This came to over $12 after coupons.  I got back $9 in ECBS, so I ended up paying a little over $3 for all of it.

I later went back to CVS and with ECBS and a $2 coupon, I got this Olay body wash for .42.

Then, at Walgreens, I paid a little over $2 for these Kotex products.  They were $7; I used 2 $1 coupons, and I got back a $3 RReward.
