Father's Day

Vandal!

I would rather deal with this vandal than the human kind. By process of elimination, he is responsible for knocking over my planter earlier this spring and for digging in my plants.

I caught him this morning through the kitchen window. (In case you can't see him well; it's Mr. Squirrel, bushy tail and all.)

Security

Some of you will remember that about 7 months ago I caught a burglar in my backyard before he was able to get in. This morning I woke up to find the back of my house had been egged. Actually, they didn't do a very good job as there were a couple on the roof, but the rest were smashed in the yard or patio...and there was one whole egg. I have a privacy fence, so the baseball players (my suspects) either through them from the fence or scaled it to come into the yard. Sadly, it is time to invest in a security system.

Recent Freebies

These are things I got free recently--either in the mailbox or a free coupon (hot dogs and cheese). My favorite has to be the recycled bag from Earthbound Farm. It's so sturdy, and I can take it to any store since it is not *store specific*.

Quaint

This is a tiny post office I pass each time I go back to my hometown to visit my parents. It is just so cute I wanted a picture of it.

60th Anniversary Picture

Happy Anniversary!

Today is my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. We are headed over later this morning to help them celebrate. If I can find my misplaced camera, I will add pictures later.

Thank You

Yesterday was the last day of school, and we had a school-wide award ceremony. Afterwards, one of the mothers brought this bouquet to all four of us teachers on the team. She was appreciative of what we had done for her son this year. Such a sweet gesture!

Homemade Sushi

Rather than going out *every* Friday night, we are cutting back to twice a month. I bought a homemade sushi kit at Publix and have been perfecting it. Matthew likes it.
