SNOW in coastal South Carolina!

I awoke at 4:15 to find it has already begun to melt, but it was pretty Friday night while it lasted.

Rainy Days

I love rainy days like this~~as long as I don't have to venture out. They are perfect for a cozy fire and hot chocolate or latte.

This year I had wood delivered in July. The men were sweating as they unloaded it, but I wanted to have it ready for days and nights like this.

This week has been unseasonly cool for us at this time of year. I love it, though! I hope we have a cooler than normal winter.

Fall

October~~~The beginning of fall~~I love the cooler weather. Last night I had a fire for the first time this year. It was a crisp 40something. I have lived in South Carolina since I was five, but I still detest the humidity of the summer. Although the beach is minutes away, it's not for me. I live for this time of year. Does anyone else love fall? If so, what is there about it that appeals to you?
