Voting
I voted. I got to the polling place at 6:30 and although there were at least 30 people ahead of me, I was out by 7:15. It feels good to be in a country where you can still vote.
Amen! It took me about 30 minutes, but I thought it was well worth it. (There were people whining in line around me.. and I thought get a grip!) I am glad that so many people came out to vote. There are usually only a dozen or less at our precinct no matter what kind of election. I have never seen so many people turn out. I am glad to see people participating no matter what their stripe. I am sorry we didn't get to talk on Sunday.. I saw y'all behind us.. but then I missed you when we were leaving. Matthew is getting so grown up! much love... char
